Poipole

Poipole, known as ベベノム in Japanese, is a Poison-type Ultra Beast Pokémon introduced in Generation VII's Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. Codenamed UB Adhesive, it's characterized by its purple and magenta coloration, along with three needle-like horns on its head. Poipole has a large head filled with venom that it can project through the needles. It is known to be curious and emotional, and can even understand human speech if it spends enough time with people. In its home world, Poipole is often chosen as a first partner Pokémon. It evolves into the Dragon-type Naganadel when leveled up knowing Dragon Pulse. Unlike most Ultra Beasts, Poipole is not aggressive and expresses its feelings through harmless colored goo, often making paintings to show friendship or emotion. In the anime, Ash once caught a Poipole, which later evolved into Naganadel. Its design is inspired by wasp larvae and syringes, and it also incorporates elements of stereotypical alien designs.
