Scorbunny (Japanese: ヒバニー Hibanny) is a Fire-type Pokémon introduced in Generation VIII. It is one of the first partner Pokémon of the Galar region, featured in Pokémon Sword and Shield. Scorbunny resembles a small white rabbit with reddish-orange patches on the tips of its ears and feet, and yellow rectangles on its face and soles. This energetic Pokémon is always running about, using its powerful legs to confuse opponents. Scorbunny possesses a fire sac in its chest, known as its "second heart," which stores viscous flame energy. Through warm-up exercises, it increases its body temperature and unleashes fire energy in battle. Its feet have special pads that heat up and allow it to perform fiery kicks. In the Pokémon Journeys anime series, Goh's Scorbunny plays a prominent role, eventually evolving into Raboot and then Cinderace. Scorbunny evolves into Raboot at level 16, and then into Cinderace at level 35. It is also known to possess the ability Libero.
