Rookidee, known in Japanese as Kokogara, is a Flying-type Pokémon introduced in the eighth generation games, Pokémon Sword and Shield. It is a small, birdlike Pokémon with a dark blue back, wings, and tail, and a yellow underbelly. Its face is covered by a black "mask" pattern, and it has red eyes with white semicircle markings beneath them. Rookidee evolves into Corvisquire at level 18, and Corvisquire evolves into Corviknight at level 38. Rookidee is a feisty and territorial Pokémon, known to bravely fight opponents regardless of their size. They use their agility to jump and confuse larger opponents. Female Rookidee are more particular than their male counterparts, and will relentlessly peck any creature that dirties their wings. Rookidee's design is likely inspired by birds of the tit family, such as the Eurasian blue tit or the great tit.
