Dottler

Dottler (Japanese: レドームシ Redomushi) is a dual-type Bug/Psychic Pokémon introduced in Generation VIII. It evolves from Blipbug starting at level 10 and evolves into Orbeetle starting at level 30. Dottler is a small, dome-shaped Pokémon covered by a geometric yellow shell with blue dots at the vertices. It has an orange head with large light blue eyes rimmed by orange markings, and blue feelers protruding from each side of its face. Dottler remains mostly stationary within its shell, relying on its psychic powers to sense its surroundings. It is believed that Dottler enhances its psychic abilities by remaining in its shell without food or water, which helps it prepare for evolution. Dottler's shell is typically yellow, but in its shiny form, it appears bluish-gray. Inspired by a ladybug pupa and a radome, Dottler's name combines “dot” and “Doppler radar.” It's a bug-type Pokémon that uses its psychic powers to prepare itself for evolution while hiding inside its shell.
