Yamper, known as Wanpachi in Japanese, is an Electric-type Pokémon introduced in Generation VIII of the Pokémon series, specifically in Pokémon Sword and Shield. Based on a corgi, it has a brown body with yellow fluff around its neck, resembling a collar, and yellow highlights around its eyes. Its tail is a yellow lightning bolt shape, and it has a heart-shaped pattern on its rear. Yamper's four feet, underbelly, and parts of its face are white. The inside of its ears are light green and yellow. Yamper has an organ that generates electricity when it runs, which it can't store, leading to visible sparks when it's moving. It's often used as a herding Pokémon in the Galar region. Yamper is known for chasing after fast-moving objects and is motivated by treats to assist people. It also uniquely possesses the Ability "Ball Fetch," retrieving Poké Balls that fail to catch wild Pokémon when it isn't holding an item. Yamper evolves into Boltund at level 25.
