Arrokuda, known as Sashikamasu in Japanese, is a Water-type Pokémon introduced in Generation VIII. It closely resembles a barracuda, with a slender body, arrow-like markings on its sides, and a tail that resembles the fletching of an arrow. Arrokuda can thrive in both fresh and saltwater environments, preferring the sea but also found in fast-moving rivers and large lakes. Its unique hunting strategy involves skewering prey with its closed, sharp jaws instead of biting. Arrokuda lies in wait and then rushes towards any movement to impale it. They are very proud of their sharp jaws and display them to other Arrokuda for dominance. However, Arrokuda has poor eyesight, resulting in a low success rate in hunting. After feeding, their movements slow down considerably, making them easy prey for predators like Cramorant and Wattrel. Arrokuda evolves into Barraskewda at level 26.
