Sinistea (Japanese: ヤバチャ Yabacha) is a Ghost-type Pokémon introduced in Generation VIII. It resembles a teacup possessed by a spirit, featuring a purple body with a yellow swirl pattern, and a hand gripping the cup's handle. Sinistea has two forms: Phony Form and Antique Form, the primary distinction being the presence of an authenticity mark on the bottom of the Antique Form. The Antique Form is rarer. Sinistea evolves into Polteageist, with the Phony Form requiring a Cracked Pot and the Antique Form needing a Chipped Pot. It is said that Sinistea is formed when a lonely spirit possesses a cold, leftover cup of tea. It attempts to have others drink it to absorb their life force, but its terrible taste usually results in it being spat out immediately. Sinistea is often found in hotels and homes, looking for opportunities.
