Impidimp, known as ベロバー in Japanese, is a dual-type Dark/Fairy Pokémon introduced in Generation VIII, specifically in the Pokémon Sword and Shield games. It is a small, pink Pokémon with a large head, wiry limbs, and a bat-wing like tuft of hair on its head. Impidimp is a male-only species. Its features include prominent pointed ears, a long nose, a mouth with a black tongue and fangs, and black facial markings. This Pokémon is known for sneaking into people's homes to steal and feed on the negative emotions of frustrated occupants, absorbing this energy through its nose. Impidimp evolves into Morgrem and then into Grimmsnarl. Its design is thought to be based on mischievous folkloric creatures such as imps, goblins, or gremlins. The Japanese name, “Beroba”, may come from “bero” (tongue) and “beroberobā” (peekaboo).
