Zamazenta

Zamazenta is a Legendary Pokémon from the Pokémon franchise, debuting in Generation VIII's Pokémon Sword and Shield. It serves as the mascot for Pokémon Shield, corresponding to Zacian in Pokémon Sword. Zamazenta is typically a Fighting-type Pokémon but transforms into a Fighting/Steel-type when wielding a Rusted Shield, known as the 'Crowned Shield' form. Zamazenta has two forms: Hero of Many Battles and Crowned Shield. In its Hero of Many Battles form, it resembles a wolf with magenta fur and blue accents, showcasing battle scars. When equipped with the Rusted Shield, it changes into Crowned Shield form, gaining golden armor and its mane transforms into a massive shield. In legend, Zamazenta collaborated with a king to save the Galar region, absorbing metal to form weapons and armor for combat. Its shield is immensely powerful, capable of withstanding Dragon-type claws and Dynamax Pokémon attacks. Zamazenta is considered the younger sibling or rival of Zacian, both tasked with protecting Galar. In-game, Zamazenta slumbers in a statue form and can also project illusions.
