Zarude

Zarude, known in Japanese as ザルード, is a Mythical Pokémon introduced in Generation VIII of the Pokémon series. It is a dual Dark/Grass type. Zarude resembles a baboon or mandrill, with a body covered in coarse black fur, and a patterned gray fur on its chest and belly. Its head is X-shaped, with red sclerae, green irises, and black, slitted pupils. Zarude can extend vines from its wrists, neck, and feet, using them to attack, swing through trees, and gather food. These vines can also rapidly heal wounds and absorb energy from trees. Zarude typically lives in aggressive troops, attacking anyone outside of their pack, yet occasionally shows a softer side. A Zarude named "Dada" left its pack to raise a human orphan, donning a pink, ripped cape with Celebi's Pokédex number, drawing unique strength from its bond with the child. Zarude does not evolve and is the only Pokémon that can learn the move Jungle Healing, which restores HP and heals status conditions for the user and allies.
