Fuecoco

Fuecoco (Japanese: ホゲータ Hogator) is a Fire-type Pokémon introduced in Generation IX, first appearing in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. It is one of the three starter Pokémon of the Paldea region, alongside Sprigatito and Quaxly. Fuecoco is a bipedal crocodilian Pokémon with a mostly red body and a white stomach and face. It has two yellow flame-like tufts on top of its head, which release fire energy from a small flame sac inside its body. Fuecoco is known for its laid-back personality, enjoyment of food, and ability to absorb external heat through its scales to generate fire energy. It evolves into Crocalor at level 16 and then into Skeledirge at level 36. Fuecoco has appeared in the Pokémon Horizons anime, owned by Roy, as well as in Pokémon GO and the Pokémon Trading Card Game. It has garnered positive reception for its cute and appealing design.
