Pawmi (Japanese: パモ Pamo) is an Electric-type Pokémon introduced in Generation IX. It is a Pikachu-like Electric Rodent Pokémon. Pawmi has an orange body with cream-colored lower limbs, snout, and tail, and green on the insides of its ears, and a tuft of fur on top of its head. It has small brown eyes and a tiny nose. Pawmi's forelimbs are considerably large and can barely stand on its hind legs. Pawmi has underdeveloped yellow electric sacs in its cheeks, as well as yellow pad-like organs on its forepaws that can discharge electricity. If it feels threatened, it will rub its cheeks to generate electricity, which it then delivers to its opponents by touching them with its forepaws. Its fur is thick, providing insulation against the cold and allowing it to store electricity. Pawmi evolves into Pawmo starting at level 18, which then evolves into Pawmot when leveled up while outside of its Poké Ball after walking 1000 steps using the Let's Go! feature. Pawmi was released at the start of Ultra Unlock: Paldea on September 10, 2023 in Pokémon GO. Pawmi was designed by Atsuko Nishida, who was responsible for designing Pikachu and Raichu.
