Dachsbun, known as Bowtzel in Japanese (バウッツェル), is a Fairy-type Pokémon introduced in Generation IX. It evolves from Fidough and resembles a dachshund with a plump, elongated body. Its fur is primarily brown, with various shades of light and dark brown markings, and it has yellow fur on its underbelly, neck, and tail tip. Its ears and neck folds resemble bread rolls, and it has braid-like protuberances on its back, with a circular, flattened tail. Dachsbun has black, beady eyes and a small, triangular black nose. It emits a pleasant aroma that aids in wheat growth, making it valued in farming villages. Its skin hardens when exposed to intense heat, exemplified by its ability 'Well-Baked Body'. Its design is inspired by dachshunds and various baked goods like bread rolls and braided loaves. Dachsbun is a Fairy-type Pokémon that debuted in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, evolving from Fidough at level 26. Its unique ability 'Well-Baked Body' increases its defense when hit by a Fire-type move. The name Dachsbun combines 'dachshund' and 'bun'. It has appeared in the anime and various games. In different languages, Dachsbun has different names, such as Briochien in French and Backel in German.
