Nacli, known as Kojio in Japanese, is a Rock-type Pokémon introduced in Generation IX. It is a small, limbless, square, rock-like Pokémon. Nacli has a rough brown stone on its head with a white, cubic salt stone on top. Its eyes are rectangular with an orange glow behind them. Nacli is born underground in layers of rock salt and constantly produces salt within its body. This salt has a gentle flavor and is used in desserts like ice cream. In ancient times, Nacli was highly valued because it would share its precious salt. Nacli and its evolutions are the only Pokémon with the Purifying Salt ability, which can cure status conditions and ward off evil spirits. Nacli leaves trails of salt by scraping the ground as it moves. It evolves into Naclstack, and then into Garganacl. The name Nacli is a combination of NaCl, the chemical formula for sodium chloride, and "little". The Japanese name, Kojio, is derived from "ko" meaning small or child, "shio" for salt, and the root "geo" for earth.
