Charcadet

Charcadet, known as Karubou in Japanese, is a Fire-type Pokémon introduced in Generation IX. It is a small, humanoid Pokémon with a black and red helmet and a flame-like plume on the back of its head. Charcadet's body is mostly black, with red hands, feet, and torso, and fiery red eyes. It is said to have been born from burnt charcoal and possesses a fiery fighting spirit, never backing down from tough opponents. Charcadet's firepower increases during battle, reaching temperatures over 1,800 degrees Fahrenheit. It prefers to eat fat-rich berries. Charcadet evolves into Armarouge using Auspicious Armor, adding a Psychic-type, or into Ceruledge using Malicious Armor, adding a Ghost-type. Armarouge is exclusive to Pokémon Scarlet, while Ceruledge is exclusive to Pokémon Violet. Its evolution is influenced by ancient sets of armor: one embodying auspicious wishes and the other harboring a malicious will.
