Bellibolt is an Electric-type Pokémon introduced in Generation IX of the Pokémon series. It evolves from Tadbulb when exposed to a Thunder Stone. Bellibolt has a frog-like appearance with an oval-shaped, teal body and orange markings. It features a yellow, belly-button-like organ that generates electricity, which it discharges through two eye-like bumps on the sides of its head. Bellibolt is known for its easygoing nature, rarely initiating battles unless provoked. It generates electricity by expanding and contracting its elastic body and can use the electricity to intimidate foes. At night, Bellibolt's stomach makes noises indicating its hunger. Its design may be inspired by the Cuyaba dwarf frog and early studies on galvanism. The name "Bellibolt" comes from a combination of 'belly' and 'bolt', while its Japanese name, 'Harabarie', combines 'hara' (belly) and 'baribari' (onomatopoeia for crackling).
