Wattrel

Wattrel (Japanese: カイデン, Kaiden) is a dual-type Electric/Flying Pokémon introduced in Generation IX. It is a small avian Pokémon, primarily black in color, with grayish-light blue feathers on its chest, yellow covert feathers on its wings, and a yellow crescent-like marking on its face. Its head is nub-like with an orange beak, and its eyes have white sclerae, black irises, and teal pupils. It has small orange webbed feet and a tail that splits into two. Wattrel catches wind with its wings to generate electricity from its bones, which it uses to dive into water and electrocute prey like Arrokuda. They nest on coastal cliffs, and their nests are considered a delicacy in the Paldea region due to their crackling texture. Wattrel evolves into Kilowattrel starting at level 25. It and Kilowattrel are the only known Pokémon with the Wind Power ability. In the anime, Roy, one of Ash's friends, owns a Wattrel that later evolves into Kilowattrel.
