Mabosstiff

Mabosstiff (Japanese: マフィティフ Mafitiff) is a Dark-type Pokémon introduced in Generation IX. It evolves from Maschiff starting at level 30. Mabosstiff is a large, canine Pokémon with a primarily gray coat, featuring blackish gray markings on its underside, back, and around its face and eyes. A light gray stripe runs down its spine, starting from its forehead like slicked-back hair and extending to its bushy tail. It has a large head with small, orange beady eyes, light gray eyebrows, light gray accents under its eyes, a rounded, triangular orange nose, and sharp teeth. A large dewlap below its mouth stores energy for defense. Mabosstiff is known for its gentle nature, enjoying playing with children, but becomes intimidating when protecting its family. It has the unique ability 'Guard Dog.' Its design seems based on mastiff breeds, particularly the Spanish Mastiff, with influences from others like the Cane Corso. Its dark color, intimidating appearance, and mafia-like theming suggest inspiration from organized crime leaders.
