Capsakid

Capsakid (カプサイジ) is a Grass-type Pokémon introduced in Generation IX. It is a small, green Pokémon resembling the kappa of Japanese folklore, with no arms and a short, stubby tail. Its head has a wide, round cap that splits into six sections, with a small green area on top. It has an orange beak-like mouth with a single buck tooth. Capsakid is favored by local chefs due to its shed tooth emitting an extremely spicy aroma, used as an ingredient in most Paldean dishes. Capsakid creates spicy chemicals within its body using energy from sunlight, with the amount of spiciness increasing with sun exposure. It evolves into Scovillain when exposed to a Fire Stone. Capsakid's design is inspired by immature peppers, such as the habanero, while its cap and beak give it a kappa-like appearance. It also bears resemblance to a newly hatched baby dinosaur or chick with its cap resembling a piece of eggshell.
