Tinkatuff (Japanese: ナカヌチャン Nakanuchan) is a dual-type Fairy/Steel Pokémon introduced in Generation IX. It is the evolved form of Tinkatink and evolves into Tinkaton. Tinkatuff appears as an adolescent-looking humanoid, having removed the steel star it had as a Tinkatink. It is slightly taller, and its hammer now resembles an actual weapon. Tinkatuff are known to live in groups, making homes in piles of scrap metal. They are infamous for creating their hammers by attacking groups of Pawniard and Bisharp, stealing their armor to create their own sturdy hammers. Tinkatuff also test the strength of their hammers by smashing them against each other. They are considered feisty and cruel Pokémon. The name "Tinkatuff" combines "tinker" and "tough," while its Japanese name, “ナカヌチャン,” includes “naka” (middle), “kanuchi” (blacksmith), and the diminutive suffix “-chan.”
