Glimmet, known as Kirame in Japanese, is a Rock/Poison-type Pokémon introduced in Generation IX. It resembles a crystal plant, with a light purple stem-like body, a black face covered by a transparent cone, and six dark blue crystal petals with light blue lines, which contain crystallized poison. Glimmet inhabits caves, absorbing minerals from cave walls for sustenance. It can float to move around and defends itself by scattering poisonous powder from its petals. Glimmet may be related to the Terastal phenomenon, as its evolved form, Glimmora's petals resemble the Tera Jewels. It is often found in Area Zero and the Area Zero Underdepths in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, the origin of the Terastal phenomenon. Eight Glimmet Crystals are needed to make TM171 (Tera Blast). In the Pokémon Horizons anime, Glimmet can propel itself through the air by spinning its petals like a propeller. Glimmet and its evolution Glimmora possess the unique ability, Toxic Debris.
