Greavard (Japanese: ボチ Bochi) is a Ghost-type Pokémon introduced in Generation IX. It resembles a small, shaggy gray canine with long fur covering its eyes. The tips of its fur and tail are white, and it has a candle-like structure on its head with a purple flame. Greavard often hides underground, with only its head candle exposed. When someone approaches, it jumps out with an eerie cry. Despite this, Greavard is friendly and affectionate, easily becoming lonely. It will follow anyone who gives it attention. However, it unknowingly drains the life force of those nearby, so prolonged interaction isn't recommended. It is said to be the reincarnation of wild dog Pokémon that died without interacting with humans. Greavard evolves into Houndstone at level 30 during the night.
