Dudunsparce, also known as Nokokocchi, is a Normal-type Pokémon introduced in Generation IX. It evolves from Dunsparce. Dudunsparce closely resembles its pre-evolution, Dunsparce, but its body is longer with an additional segment or two, each bearing a pair of wings. Most Dudunsparce have one additional segment, forming a "Two-Segment Form," while a rare few have two additional segments, forming a "Three-Segment Form." Dudunsparce uses its hard tail to bore tunnels into bedrock to create nests that can reach up to 10 kilometers long. It expels enemies from its nest by inhaling air and then forcefully exhaling it. Gentle by nature, Dudunsparce also carries lost Pokémon on its back to the nest entrance. Dudunsparce and Dunsparce are the only known Pokémon capable of learning the move "Hyper Drill". Its Japanese name, "Nokokocchi," is a repetition of Dunsparce's Japanese name, "Nokocchi," reflecting its multi-segmented body.
