Slither Wing (チヲハウハネ) is a unique Bug/Fighting-type Paradox Pokémon introduced in Generation IX. It is considered an ancient relative of Volcarona and is a counterpart to the future Iron Moth. Slither Wing has a large moth-like appearance with some dinosaur-like traits. It possesses compound eyes divided into four parts, and six orange-yellow wings with diamond-shaped markings. Despite having wings, Slither Wing mainly walks on four legs and often crawls on its belly. Its tail is teal with black dots and spines. In battles, it can stand on its hind legs, utilizing its physical strength. It has the ability 'Protosynthesis', which boosts its stats in harsh sunlight or when holding a Booster Energy. The origin of Slither Wing is theorized to be from an ancient fossil, but it is also described as a counterpart of Volcarona from another timeline. Slither Wing's Japanese name, 'Chiwohauhane', literally means 'wings crawling on the ground,' which aligns with its crawling behavior.
