Frigibax, known as Sebie in Japanese, is a dual-type Dragon/Ice Pokémon introduced in Generation IX in the games Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. It's a gray, bipedal reptilian Pokémon with a large head and facial features, yellow sclerae and black pupils in its eyes, a bulbous light gray snout, and a large mouth. A single, square-shaped ice crystal is located on the left side below its lip. It has a light blue underbelly and a short tail. Its limbs are short and stubby with three digits each, and it has long, thin, yellow quills on the backs of its hands. Frigibax has a triangular dorsal fin on its back, located above a large, whitish circular pattern. This fin absorbs heat, which Frigibax converts into ice energy. It stores this energy to cool its dwelling, storing more energy as the surrounding temperature rises. Frigibax inhabits forests and rough terrains and often fights with Bergmite. Wild Frigibax settle disputes by comparing the size of their yellow quills, with the one possessing the longest and most colorful quills winning. It evolves into Arctibax starting at level 35, and then into Baxcalibur at level 54. Its design might be inspired by baby dinosaurs, notably the Concavenator, a theropod dinosaur with a crest on its back and quills on its forelimbs.
