Baxcalibur (Japanese: セグレイブ Seglaive) is a dual-type Dragon/Ice pseudo-legendary Pokémon introduced in Generation IX. It evolves from Arctibax starting at level 54 and is the final form of Frigibax. Baxcalibur is a large, theropod-like Pokémon with a predominantly navy blue body, featuring hexagon-shaped ice patches on its chest, knees, and under its tail. It also has light blue patches under its feet and red quills on its wrists and claws. Its face is covered by an icy mask with spikes pointing upward and icicles pointing down. The black, ice-coated spine on its back resembles an axe. In battle, it flips upside-down, using its spine as an axe while spewing cryogenic air from its mouth, capable of freezing lava. Baxcalibur is the only Pokémon that can learn Glaive Rush and possesses the Thermal Exchange Ability in its evolutionary line. Its design is inspired by kaiju, dinosaurs, and the legendary sword Excalibur.
