Sinistcha (ヤバソチャ), is a dual-type Grass/Ghost Pokémon introduced in Generation IX as part of the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet DLC, The Teal Mask. It evolves from Poltchageist and is characterized by its appearance as a matcha tea bowl with a tea whisk on its head. Sinistcha has two forms: the Unremarkable Form and the Masterpiece Form, the latter featuring a stamp on the bottom of its bowl. It stirs itself with the whisk to generate energy and attacks using life-draining matcha. Sinistcha inhabits cool, dark areas and was formerly known to disguise itself as tea to lure people and absorb their lifeforce, though it is not as successful nowadays. It is ecologically similar to Polteageist, but they are separate species. Its signature move is Matcha Gotcha, dealing damage and restoring its own HP.
