Archaludon, known as ブリジュラス in Japanese, is a dual-type Steel/Dragon Pokémon introduced in Generation IX. It is the evolved form of Duraludon. Archaludon resembles a tall, bipedal, metallic dinosaur with a blocky body. Its primary color is silver, with dark blue on its underbelly and limbs, as well as red stripes and white triangles. When in danger, Archaludon straightens its body, extends its limbs, and resembles a steel bridge. In this state, its mobility decreases, but its center of gravity becomes more stable. Archaludon gathers static electricity from its environment and converts it into powerful electric energy beams for attacks. It can accumulate electrical energy faster during storms. Archaludon's defenses are incredibly strong, making it unfazed by cave-ins. It often digs holes in mountains in search of food. Archaludon's design is inspired by bridges, particularly cable-stayed bridges, as well as forklifts and staple removers. Its Japanese name, "Briduras", may be derived from a combination of 'bridge' and Duraludon.
