Gouging Fire, known in Japanese as Ugatsuhomura, is a Fire/Dragon-type Paradox Pokémon introduced in the Pokémon series, specifically in the ninth generation with the Scarlet and Violet DLC, The Indigo Disk. It's considered an ancient relative of Entei, exhibiting a combination of leonine and ceratopsian traits. Gouging Fire has brown fur, gray spikes on its back, and a cloud-like tail of smoke. It possesses immense fire power, capable of causing volcanic eruptions with its roars, and can overheat its fur to protect itself or burn enemies. While rumors suggest it's a resurrected Entei from a fossil, its actual origin is unclear. Distinguishing features include a large spiky crest on its head and a gray plate covering its muzzle. In-game, Gouging Fire can be found near Area Zero after fulfilling certain requirements. It is the only Pokémon known to learn the move Burning Bulwark.
