Raging Bolt (Japanese: タケルライコ, Takeruraiko) is a dual-type Electric/Dragon Paradox Pokémon introduced in Generation IX in the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet DLC, The Indigo Disk. It is considered an ancient relative of Raikou. Raging Bolt is a quadrupedal, sauropod-like Pokémon, primarily yellow with black stripes and red accents. It has blue jagged patterns on its back and a spike ball at the end of its lightning bolt-shaped tail. It possesses a long neck and a mane resembling storm clouds. It is said that Raging Bolt can incinerate everything around it with lightning launched from its fur and attack targets with its neck. It is the only known Pokémon capable of learning the move Thunderclap, and its signature move is Rising Voltage. Its design is inspired by Raikou, sauropod dinosaurs (like Brontosaurus), and mythical creatures like the Qilin and serpopard. Raging Bolt also appears in the Pokémon Trading Card Game, usually as a Dragon-type Basic Pokémon card.
