Nate

Nate, known as Kyouhei (キョウヘイ) in Japanese, is the male protagonist in the Pokémon games *Pokémon Black Version 2* and *Pokémon White Version 2*. He is the male counterpart to the female protagonist, Rosa. Nate is depicted as a short, slim young man with pale skin, long dark brown hair, and brown eyes. He wears a red tennis visor with a black and white Poké Ball logo, with his messy hair tucked under it. His outfit includes a short-sleeved cobalt blue jacket, knee-length white shorts, and a black, skintight wetsuit with teal accents underneath. He sports red and black sneakers and carries a white messenger bag. As a player-controlled character in the game, Nate's personality is not predefined and is up to the player to decide. He embarks on a journey through the Unova region alongside his childhood rival, Hugh. If the player chooses to play as Rosa, Nate will appear as a non-player character and will fight alongside the player in the Battle Subway. Nate has also appeared in *Pokémon Masters EX*, teaming up with Braviary and Shiny Haxorus.
