Victor

Victor (Japanese: マサル, Masaru) is the male player character in Pokémon Sword and Shield. His female counterpart is Gloria. Victor is a young boy living in Postwick, in the Galar region. He is invited by his friend Hop to meet Leon, the Champion of the Galar League, and receive a starter Pokémon. He embarks on a Gym Challenge, collecting badges and dealing with Team Yell. Victor wins the Champion Cup and defeats Leon, becoming the new Champion. He also confronts rampaging Dynamax Pokémon, trains on the Isle of Armor, explores the Crown Tundra, and solves mysteries. Victor’s appearance can be customized. His outfit is a free style option in Pokémon GO. In Pokémon Masters EX, Victor forms sync pairs with Rillaboom, Spectrier, and Greedent. In the anime, Victor made a cameo in a post-credits scene and also played a key role in stopping the Darkest Day. His starter Pokémon is Inteleon.
