Klara

Klara (クララ) is a rival character who appears in the Pokémon Sword Expansion Pass, The Isle of Armor. She is replaced by Avery in Pokémon Shield. Klara is a stylish young woman with fair skin, blue eyes, and pink hair. She wears pink lipstick and eyeshadow, and has a mole under her mouth. Her outfit is unique and wild, consisting of a white fur coat, a white and blue moth-like bow with pink circles, and a dark purple and green uniform. She was originally an unsuccessful underground pop star who dreamed of becoming a popular Gym Leader. To achieve this, she joined Mustard's Dojo to train. Klara is self-centered and craves attention, which sometimes leads her to use underhanded tactics to win. In the games, she specializes in Poison-type Pokémon and is known for setting up Toxic Spikes on the opponent's field at the start of battles. Although initially not very diligent in her training, she begins to work harder after meeting new students at the dojo. Later on, she becomes a Poison-type Gym Leader in the Galar region and appears in the Galarian Star Tournament.
