Akari

Akari (Japanese: Shō) is the female protagonist of Pokémon Legends: Arceus, and a member of the Galaxy Team's Survey Corps. She bears a striking resemblance to Dawn from the modern day, though the relationship between the two remains unknown. If the player chooses the male protagonist, Rei, Akari appears as a non-playable character. She is initially transported to the ancient Hisui region by Arceus through a time-space rift, tasked with discovering all Pokémon, and her smartphone is transformed into the Arc Phone. She joins the Galaxy Team's Survey Corps to contribute to the region's first Pokédex. Besides being the protagonist, Akari also assists the player as a guide, teaching how to catch Pokémon and craft items. Her resemblance to Dawn is often noted and commented on by in-game characters, with some even questioning if she is Dawn. Akari also appears in Pokémon Masters EX as a playable sync pair, partnered with Hisuian Samurott, having traveled through a space-time rift to reach Pasio.
