Arven

Arven, known as Peper in Japanese, is a significant character in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. He is an upperclassman at the academy in the Paldea region and a dedicated researcher of healthy recipes. Arven initially comes across as aloof and irritable, but as the game progresses, he reveals a caring and gentle side. He is the son of either Professor Sada (in Scarlet) or Professor Turo (in Violet). Due to his parents' research commitments, he largely grew up alone, which led him to develop excellent cooking skills. Arven's primary goal in the game is to find the Herba Mystica to heal his injured partner, Mabosstiff. His storyline, “Path of Legends,” is closely intertwined with the protagonist's journey, as he challenges powerful Titan Pokémon alongside the player and enhances their abilities through the creation of delicious sandwiches. His passion for cooking and deep affection for his Pokémon make him a compelling character in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
