Professor Sada

Professor Sada (オーリム博士) is a prominent character in Pokémon Scarlet, serving as one of the primary professors in the game. She is the counterpart to Professor Turo in Pokémon Violet. Professor Sada's research focuses on the lore of the Paldea region, and she is also the head professor at Naranja Academy. She is a slender young woman with a distinctive outfit consisting of an orange crop top and shorts, paired with furry orange stockings, brown sandals, and a white lab coat with light pink fur trimming. Her appearance also includes orange nail polish, two hair pieces, a necklace, orange and diamond-shaped earrings, and a belly chain around her shorts. Professor Sada has a deep fascination with the history of the past and its Pokémon, which led her to invent a time machine to make contact with the ancient past. She is a highly skilled inventor, evidenced by her time machine and robotic counterpart. This robotic counterpart is more advanced than any AI in the game, retaining her personality, memories, and the ability to experience feelings and compute data. Despite her dedication to research, she deeply loves her son Arven, as shown by a photo of Arven as a toddler with Mabosstiff in her lab. In the story, Professor Sada sacrifices herself to protect a Pokémon, and her AI copy continues her research until meeting the protagonist.
