After defeating Chuck, his wife will give the player the Fly HM. Chuck also appears in the Pokémon World Tournament in Pokémon Black 2 and White 2. In the animated series, Chuck is also an important character. He was the master of Fighting-type Gym Leaders Bea and Brawly, and he had a Gym battle with Ash, which Ash won. Chuck is a Gym Leader who is very passionate about fighting and training, and even though his wife sometimes mocks him for getting tired easily, he remains enthusiastic about training and Pokémon.
