Ramos

Ramos, known as Fukuji in Japanese, is a character from the Pokémon series, debuting in Pokémon X and Y. He serves as the Gym Leader of Coumarine City in the Kalos region, specializing in Grass-type Pokémon. Ramos is depicted as an elderly, lanky man with pale skin, a hunchback, and perpetually closed eyes. He's bald, with only eyebrows and a spiky white beard remaining on his head. He wears a green long-sleeved shirt, brown suspenders, gray work pants, and green boots. He also sports an orange scarf, a green cap, thick gardening gloves, and carries gardening scissors. Despite his appearance, Ramos is intelligent and experienced, and respects his opponents. In the anime, Ramos is often seen riding his Gogoat. He awards the Plant Badge to trainers who defeat him. He also advises Ash not to focus solely on what's in front of him but to think from different angles. Ramos appears as a Gym Leader in the Pokémon Adventures manga, where he aids in the fight against Team Flare.
