Gordie

Gordie (Japanese: マクワ Makuwa) is a Gym Leader in the Pokémon series, first introduced in Generation VIII's Pokémon Sword. He is a Rock-type Pokémon specialist and the Gym Leader of Circhester in the Galar region. Gordie is a tall and stocky young man with fair skin, beige hair, and blue eyes. He is known for his stylish attire and somewhat cocky personality. Despite his arrogance, Gordie cares about his fans and tries his best to keep them happy. His battle style contrasts with his mother Melony's hard-hitting approach; he uses a more refined and graceful style honed through strict training. In the games, players challenge Gordie at the Circhester Gym. If the player is playing Pokémon Shield, Melony, Gordie's mother, will be the Gym Leader instead. After losing a battle, Gordie tends to shut himself in the locker room, making post-match interviews rare, a trait his fans find endearing. He has a large fanbase and frequently holds autograph sessions and other events to show his appreciation.
