Melony

Melony (Japanese: メロン Melon) is a character in the Pokémon series, appearing as a Gym Leader in Pokémon Sword and Shield. She is the Gym Leader of Circhester in the Galar region, specializing in Ice-type Pokémon. Melony is a large, plump woman with fair skin and light gray hair with a grayish-blue streak. She wears thick, cold-weather clothing, including a white turtleneck sweater, a puffy scarf, a wool hat, and shorts with an Ice-type symbol. She is known for her strict training style, making her Gym a major obstacle for challengers. She had a conflict with her son, Gordie, over who would take over the Gym, causing a divide in their town. Despite this, Melony became the first member of Gordie's fan club. In Pokémon Sword, she is replaced by her son Gordie as the Gym Leader, who specializes in Rock-type Pokémon.
