Mustard

Mustard (Japanese: マスタード) is a character in the Pokémon Sword and Shield Expansion Pass, The Isle of Armor. He is a former Champion of the Galar region and the mentor of Leon. Normally, Mustard wears a green shirt with a blue paw print and yellow undershirt as well as white pants. He also sports a bowler hat with green highlights. When he gets serious, he takes off his jacket and hat, and his eyebrows which normally flap downwards now point upwards. His hair is wrapped in a ponytail with a red headband and he strikes a kung fu pose. In his youth, Mustard was driven to be the best, holding high standards for himself and others. After retiring, he has mellowed out but still gets excited to battle worthy opponents. He prefers fair fights and dislikes cheaters. Despite being a hot-blooded battler, he enjoys video games and is often seen playing Pokémon Quest. Mustard was a Fighting-type Gym Leader who became Champion for 18 years, one of Galar's strongest. He retired after being asked to participate in a rigged match and later bought the Isle of Armor, opening a dojo with his wife, Honey.
