Amarys

Amarys (Japanese: Nerine) is a character appearing in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet: The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero (The Indigo Disk). She is a student attending Blueberry Academy and one of the members of the BB League's Elite Four, specializing in Steel-type Pokémon. Amarys is a slender young girl with dark skin, black hair styled with four screw-like hairclips, gray eyeglasses, and turquoise eyes. She wears a blue Blueberry Academy uniform, a red single glove, and grey boots. Amarys maintains a reserved and cool demeanor, but deeply cares for her friends. She often consults her stopwatch for time management and adheres to academy rules. She is heavily implied to have a crush on Kieran, which is apparent when she thinks about him. Amarys is the second-weakest of the BB League's Elite Four and serves as the student council president. Players first encounter her during a meeting about the player joining the league. Before challenging her, players must complete a flying time trial. Upon defeat, she rewards the player with the TM Hard Press. After completing the storyline, Amarys helps the player's ride Pokémon gain the permanent ability to fly, and she can be rematched multiple times, offering a Skarmory.
