Lacey

Lacey, known as Taro (タロ) in Japan, is a character introduced in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet's The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero (The Indigo Disk). She is a second-year student at Blueberry Academy and the second-strongest member of the BB League's Elite Four. Lacey specializes in Fairy-type Pokémon. She is a slender girl with light pink hair, hairclips, and yellow eyes. Her attire consists of a white shirt with a red neckerchief, blue pants with one blue and one white stripe, white shoes, and a long lavender coat. Lacey is reliable, skilled in Pokémon battles, and adores cute Pokémon, particularly Fairy-types. She often crosses her arms in an 'X' when she disapproves of something. Lacey is the daughter of Driftveil City Gym Leader Clay and often helps Cyrano due to his forgetfulness. In the game, Lacey gives the player a tour of the academy and a small Pokémon battle. She also oversees a trial that tests the player's knowledge of Pokémon features. Later in the story, she amends the rules to allow exchange students to participate in the League, ensuring the previous Elite Four members maintain their positions. After the main storyline, Lacey can be found in the club room for rematches and trades.
