Argenta

Argenta, known as Kate (ケイト) in Japanese, is a character in the Pokémon series. She serves as the Hall Matron of the Battle Hall in the Sinnoh and Johto regions' Battle Frontier. Known for her elegant and fashionable appearance, Argenta has purple hair and red eyes. She wears a white turtleneck, a red jacket, red shorts, purple tights, and black high-heeled boots. She also sports black gloves, red-framed sunglasses, and blue earrings, complemented with purple lipstick. In the games, Argenta's Pokémon team is random but often features high stats. The first battle with her occurs after 49 consecutive wins, and a rematch is available after 170 consecutive wins. She often uses stat-raising or special condition moves. Defeating her grants the player a silver or gold commemorative print. In Pokémon Masters EX, Argenta partners with Skarmory and can Dynamax. She debuted as an NPC in the Tower Tycoon and Hall Matron story event before becoming a playable sync pair. Argenta also appears in the Pokémon Adventures manga, where she battled Platinum at the Battle Hall using her Dragonite.
