Proton

Proton is a Team Rocket Executive in the Pokémon franchise. He originally appeared as two separate unnamed characters in Pokémon Gold, Silver, and Crystal: a Grunt in the Slowpoke Well and an Executive in the Goldenrod Radio Tower. In HeartGold and SoulSilver, he was established as his own character, taking on the roles of both the Grunt and the Executive. Proton is characterized by his teal hair and eyes. His uniform consists of an open-collared black shirt with yellow stripes and the Team Rocket logo, black pants, a white belt, white gloves, boots with a red stripe near the top, and a black flat cap. He is known as the "scariest and cruelest guy in Team Rocket" and is quick to anger. Proton shows no remorse for his actions at the Slowpoke Well and is frustrated when he is defeated by the player. He is a popular Executive within the organization, with some Rocket Grunts expressing admiration for him. He is first battled at the Slowpoke Well and later at the Goldenrod Radio Tower. In Pokémon Masters EX, Proton is a sync pair with Golbat, and has made appearances in the manga Pokémon Adventures and Pocket Monsters HGSS Jō's Big Adventure.
