Mars

Mars (Japanese: マーズ Mars) is one of the four Commanders of Team Galactic, a villainous organization in the Pokémon series. She first appears in the core series games such as Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum, where she plays a significant role in executing Team Galactic's plans in the Sinnoh region. Mars is characterized by her loyalty to Cyrus, the leader of Team Galactic, and she is known to strictly follow his orders. She is frequently seen attempting to thwart the protagonist's efforts, such as the battles at Lake Verity and Spear Pillar. In Pokémon Platinum, Mars displays distrust towards the newer Galactic member, Charon, and begins to question Cyrus's ideals, eventually leading her to quit Team Galactic alongside Jupiter. In the animated series, Mars appears multiple times, showcasing her loyalty to Cyrus and her conflicts with the main characters. Her signature Pokémon is Purugly, and she is also known to use Bronzong. Mars's visual design features vibrant red, reflecting her role as a Team Galactic commander.
