Ryoku

Ryoku (Japanese: リョクシ) is a character from the Pokémon franchise, one of the Seven Sages of Team Plasma. In Pokémon Black and White, he first appears in the Relic Castle, stating that he will test the player. He later blocks the player's path in N's Castle, ultimately being defeated by the Gym Leaders. In the post-game, he is found in the Relic Castle attempting to catch Volcarona before being arrested. Ryoku also appears in the Pokémon Adventures manga as a key member of Team Plasma, tasked with protecting Volcarona. He is characterized by short gray hair and a mustache, wearing a long green robe with a Team Plasma insignia and tall cap. He is loyal to Ghetsis and scorns humans who own Pokémon, believing they are enslaved. Ryoku used a Scolipede, though its specific moves are unknown. His actions also leave a trace in Pokémon Black 2 and White 2, where he worked with Bronius in the Castelia Sewers and was eventually arrested by Blake. Ryoku also makes a brief appearance in the Pokémon Generations anime.
