Shadow Triad

The Shadow Triad (Japanese: ダークトリニティ, Dark Trinity) are a group of three ninja-like Team Plasma subordinates in the Pokémon series, completely loyal to Ghetsis. They first appear in Pokémon Black and White and play a more significant role in Pokémon Black 2 and White 2. These three are swift, stealthy, and often appear and disappear suddenly, like ninjas. Their loyalty stems from Ghetsis having saved their lives, which is why they remain loyal to him even after he disbands Team Plasma. The Shadow Triad appear many times in the games, often escorting the player to meetings with N or Ghetsis, and carrying out tasks like stealing the DNA Splicers. While they serve Team Plasma, their primary goal is to protect Ghetsis and assist him when needed. In Pokémon Black 2 and White 2, they also battle the player several times, ultimately taking a mentally broken Ghetsis away after he is defeated. They wait for the player in Icirrus City, where they can be challenged again each time the season changes, hoping to bring some joy back to Ghetsis.
