Lysandre

Lysandre, also known as Fuladari, is a major antagonist in the Pokémon series. He first appears in Pokémon X and Pokémon Y as the leader of the villainous Team Flare. He has distinctive red, pointed hair and a beard, and wears a black and red suit, giving him a dignified yet cold appearance. Lysandre was originally a philanthropist who helped many, but eventually became disillusioned with humanity. He believes that humans are too greedy and that to protect the world, the population must be reduced. Therefore, he plans to use the ultimate weapon to eliminate most humans and Pokémon, leaving only what he considers to be the "chosen few." In the games, Lysandre battles the protagonist multiple times and is ultimately defeated. He also appears in the anime and manga, though with slightly different portrayals, being more sinister and cunning, and more attached to his ideals. He is also featured as a playable character in Pokémon Masters EX.
