Rose

Rose (Japanese: ローズ) is a significant character in the Pokémon series, first appearing in Pokémon Sword and Shield. He is the president of the Macro Cosmos conglomerate and the chairman of the Galar Pokémon League. Deeply concerned about Galar's energy problems, Rose resorts to extreme measures to secure the region's future energy supply. He sponsored and promoted the champion-level trainer Leon and funded Bede's Gym Challenge. Rose also designed and built Wyndon, the largest city in the Galar region, which serves as the headquarters for both the Galar Pokémon League and Macro Cosmos. He primarily uses Steel-type Pokémon, most notably his Copperajah. In the story, Rose's attempt to control the legendary Pokémon Eternatus to solve the energy crisis leads to a disaster in Galar, ultimately resulting in his arrest. While his intentions were good, his actions had severe consequences.
